Three Graces (Harmony, Splendor and Strategy), an Op-Art cantastoria (banner show with sung recitation) based on the lives of Grace Lee Boggs, Grace Paley, Grace Kelly written by Jenny Romaine and the company. Created with Xavier Smith and Cassandra Burrows Performed at St. Ann’s Warehouse, Banners and Cranks Festival Detroit Institute of Art and HERE, NYC, and NYC parks.
Sing-a-long Scrolls
2018Created with Mor Ehrlich of Sez Me “Sandwiches are Beautiful,” an homage to the song by Bob King, and “3-6-9 the Goose Drank Wine” based on the clapping song by Shirley Ellis. Sez Me is an LGBT web series for kids, and multidisciplinary educational program for all ages.
The Sukkos Mob

This holiday spectacle with music conducted in Yiddish, English, and Spanish in parks, communal spaces and streets, NYC. The Rapture Project
2007Inspired by classic Sicilian puppet theater’s Orlando Furioso cycles, which performed the epic “clash of Christians and Muslim Civizations” in the 1800’s, The Rapture Project examined the influence of religion in American culture and politics. In an age when so many Americans believed in the imminent arrival of The End Times, what did/does it mean that these believers have the ear of their highest ranking politicians? With Esther Kaplan’s With God on Their Side as a road map, The Rapture Project ridiculously and terrifyingly followed a cast of characters from the USA to The Middle East and beyond. More
The True Story of Charas
A cantastoria by Great Small Works and Damiano Giambelli about the history and struggle to save The Lower East Side institution CHARAS-El Bohio Community and Cultural Center at 605 East 9th Street sold by then-Mayor Giuliani over widespread community opposition.
